Main duties of the job

CAMHS offers a wide range of mental health assessments and evidence-based interventions including family therapy, CBT, DBT interpersonal therapy, EMDR, and psychotherapy for children and young people aged 5 to 18 years. . CAMHS also has close links with community services which work with children and young people to offer an early help and bespoke packages of care. There are plenty of opportunities to work in a true multi agency way to help deliver a whole system offer that communicates that all children and young people matter and that their emotional wellbeing and mental health needs are understood and supported with kindness, compassion and high quality and safe care.

These posts will be responsible for providing high quality mental health assessments for children and young people and families using evidence-based assessments.

To be responsible for triaging new referrals into CAMHS, Urgent and routine Psychosocial assessment and safety assessments and formulation of initial care plans .

Providing consultation, advice, and training to a wide range of agencies.

Job summary

Specialist Tobacco Treatment Advisors will provide stop-smoking support to patients and staff, using well-developed behavioural change interventions.

The post-holders will be involved with training and on-going development of newly appointed Band 3 Tobacco Treatment Advisors.

The post-holders will contribute to service improvement, incorporating new evidence into their practice and identifying opportunities to improve the performance of the service, in line with Key Performance Indicators.

The Specialist Advisors will advocate for, and promote the service, engaging other Healthcare professionals, and driving cultural change across the organisation, will the aim of embedding treating tobacco dependency into every clinical pathway.

Main duties of the job

Deliver tobacco treatment assessments, advice and support interventions incorporating a range of behavioural change approaches, and in line with latest evidence and guidelines. Assessments and interventions will be holistic & compassionate and based on an understanding of the individual and their goals and aspirations.

Have a strong operational understanding of the tobacco dependency treatment pathways, including inpatients, outpatients, ED, and staff service; liaise with other teams within STH, such as Smoking in Pregnancy or Learning, Disabilities & Autism to provide joined up care to people with complex needs.

Assist in the training and on-going development of Band 3 Tobacco Treatment Advisors, as well as participating in teaching sessions to other Healthcare Professionals.

Liaise directly with Medical, Pharmacy & Nursing staff to make nicotine replacement therapy (NRT) recommendations, and to ensure it is provided and used correctly.

Provide advice and support to all staff groups on treating tobacco dependency, NRT & other nicotine-containing products, the legislative framework around smoking, and changes to health and public health guidelines.

Due to the expansion of our existing medical equipment library service, an exciting opportunity has arisen for four motivated and enthusiastic individuals to join the Medical Device Service team as a Medical Equipment Library Officer.

Working as part of a multi-disciplinary team, you will help provide an efficient and responsive medical equipment management service across the Trust, including community.

This is a fixed-term post to cover 9-month leave period for the current postholder.

This service is based within the community and provides psychological support for adults referred to Ealing Community Partner (ECP) services who have a range of health conditions. The team consists of psychologists, an art therapist and peer support worker and is embedded within a number of multidisciplinary teams.

We are looking for a dynamic and enthusiastic individual who will take over leadership of clinical health psychology services to patients who have a range of health psychology needs with a focus on diabetes, chronic pain, MSK and pulmonary rehabilitation. The role will include responsibility for leading a team of psychologists and contributing to the clinical governance and ongoing development and delivery of the clinical health psychology services within ECP.

Main duties of the job

The main duties of this exciting role are to oversee a group of highly skilled and enthusiastic staff, who are embedded within different teams within Ealing Community Partners. This includes clinical, professional and operational oversight of the team as well as working in strong partnerships with physical health services and neuropsychology and neuro-rehabiliation services.

Job summary

This is a full - time appointment for a Specialty Doctor in psychiatry to work in an established post in the central Manchester Early Intervention in Psychosis Team. The post consists of assessment and management of patients with psychotic conditions in the community. The team currently has a caseload of approximately 230. All of these service users are on CPA and will have care coordinators.

The successful candidate would assess 1-2 new patients a week and also conduct follow-up appointments. These appointments will take place either at the patient's home or within a community base and will generally be undertaken jointly with the care co-ordinator.

There is ample opportunity for development of a range of skills including domiciliary assessments, MDT interactions, Mental Health Act work, teaching and training of medical students and junior doctors, managerial, research and clinical governance work.

The Appointee is not required to participate in an on-call rota. However, this can be negotiated if the successful candidate wants to do on calls.

Main duties of the job

o The post holder will work as part of the team at Chorlton House. The post is community based with most work taking place at Chorlton House and some reviews taking place in patients' homes or in other community bases such as local CMHTs or GP surgeries.o The post holder will have access to the secretary shared across the 3 Manchester teams. ando The post holder will have a shared office with the ST doctor attached to the central team and the specialty doctor with the south EIS team. This is located within the team's base.o The post holder's work will include assessment of new patients, follow up reviews and CPA reviews with other MDT staff. There will be 1-2 new patient assessments per week and approximately 10-11 follow up reviews. The post holder will be expected to make diagnoses, assess risk, and formulate management plans with supervision as required. o They will assess and manage risk including of vulnerability, suicide risk, risks to health and safety and risk of harm to others. o They will attend the Early Intervention MDT and referral meetings.o The post holder will do some emergency work for the team's patients within usual working hours. We are looking for a compassionate, resilient and motivated Mental Health Healthcare Assistant to join our Paediatric Service and play a key role in supporting the physical and psychological wellbeing of children and young people experiencing mental health difficulties.

As a member of the wider nursing team, you will work alongside registered nurses and the Paediatric Mental Health Team (PMHT) to provide safe, therapeutic and person-centred care to children and young people admitted to the acute paediatric ward (Ifor). An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Band 8a Clinical or Counselling Psychologist to join the LEO team, in the role of Highly Specialist Psychological Therapist. The role is on a permanent contract, on a part time basis: three days per week (22.5 hours). LEO is a team for people aged 18-65 in Lambeth who have experienced a first episode of psychosis, and as such sits within SLaM's early intervention for psychosis services. This role represents an excellent opportunity for someone to engage in rich and meaningful direct clinical work with clients and their families, as well as further developing existing abilities relating to supervision, leadership and service development.

Main duties of the job

Delivery of individual and family interventions in the context of first episode psychosis, primarily within the framework of Cognitive Behavioural Therapy for Psychosis (CBTp), while drawing on other models and approaches where appropriate, and ensuring that interventions are delivered in such a manner that is both equitable and trauma informed.

-Supporting MDT staff in psychological formulation and case conceptualisation. Contributing to ensuring that the team's work as a whole is psychologically informed where possible, and that psychological perspectives are visible and influential in day to day work at LEO.

LEO is a nationally and internationally regarded team for early psychosis, having been one of the first of its kind in the UK. An enthusiastic and caring multidisciplinary team is comprised of psychiatrists, nurses, social workers, occupational therapists, vocational workers, an advanced practitioner and a team leader. A well-established psychology team includes two family interventions therapists. Job summary

This is a fantastic opportunity for an enthusiastic Clinical Psychologist/ Cognitive Behaviour Therapist. The Centre for Anxiety Disorders and Trauma (CADAT) is an outpatient psychological therapies clinic which specialises in assessing and treating people with anxiety disorders using CBT. We take great pride in our work and treat local and national patients across a range of severities, to a very high standard.

We are looking for someone with an interest and experience in treating anxiety using CBT. Newly qualified clinicians will be considered and are encouraged to apply. Prospective candidates should be able to demonstrate an excellent academic track record, specific postgraduate training and experience in CBT, and a very good working knowledge of anxiety disorders and how to treat them. We are looking for colleagues who understand the importance of evidence-based treatments, supervision, research, training and dissemination. We are seeking eager, creative and excellent clinicians. Job share, secondments, and part-time working can be considered.

Main duties of the job

To provide, develop and ensure the systematic provision of a highly specialist psychology service to clients with anxiety disorders including specialist assessment, treatment, planning, implementation and monitoring of outcomes. To provide clinical supervision, consultation and training as required. To contribute to service evaluation, research and policy development. To contribute to the clinic's culture of continual improvement, and develop and foster new areas of specialism within the clinic.

About us

The Centre for Anxiety Disorders and Trauma's remit includes the delivery and dissemination of empirically validated cognitive-behavioural treatments for panic disorder, specific phobias, social phobia, post-traumatic stress disorder, obsessive compulsive disorder and body dysmorphic disorder. The clinic provides a model of best practice in the integration of research, development and clinical treatment. Most of the treatments delivered are considered to be at the cutting edge of developments in the field. The clinic is primarily an NHS treatment service for people with anxiety disorders. Some research is also done at the clinic, with a focus on identifying maintaining cognitive factors in anxiety disorders, enhancing the effectiveness of existing cognitive therapies, evaluating how well these programmes generalise, reducing the therapist time required for treatment without loss of effectiveness, developing and implementing effective programmes for training others, and identifying key change processes in cognitive therapy.
