Green Parks House is an inpatient unit of four wards, three working age adult and one older adult based in the grounds of Princess Royal University Hospital. The group was set up by Occupational Therapy staff interested in music and the well-being it provides to patients. This group has been facilitated by OT staff, using a play list.

Bexley CAMHS provides specialist mental health care for children and young people from birth to 18 years with their parents/families/carers. As a Pharmacy Technician, you will be providing a medicines management service to patients within the prison with the professional support of a prison service pharmacist. You will dispense prescriptions and stock items, whilst supervising assistants when in the dispensary. There will also be elements of stock control involved in your role, such as undertaking stock top-up services and reviewing expiry dates and storage facilities for all medicines, reporting any deficiencies to the prison service pharmacist.

Main duties of the job

As a Pharmacy Technician, you will be providing a medicines management service to patients within the prison with the professional support of a prison service pharmacist. You will administer medicines to patients against a valid prescription, ensuring this is taken correctly, provide advice to patients about the appropriate use of medicines and promote healthy lifestyles to aid their rehabilitation.

You will dispense prescriptions and stock items, whilst supervising assistants when in the dispensary. There will also be elements of stock control involved in your role, such as undertaking stock top-up services and reviewing expiry dates and storage facilities for all medicines, reporting any deficiencies to the prison service pharmacist.

The Psychological Therapies Teams and Neurodevelopmental Disorders Teams in prisons are integrated into the mental health team to provide holistic support to a complex population of people in prison presenting with a range of needs and risks. The Community Children's Nursing team is part of an integrated network of services for children in Greenwich providing high quality, specialist child centred care.

Bexley CAMHS provides specialist mental health care for children and young people from birth to 18 years with their parents/families/carers. We provide specialist assessment and treatment for children and young people with severe and enduring emotional, behavioural and mental health difficulties.
