We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Band 6 Dietitian to join our well-established and highly respected renal dietetic team at Barts Health NHS Trust. This is an excellent opportunity for a dietitian with a strong interest in renal dietetics and good acute dietetic skills to further develop their career within one of the largest renal units in Europe.

As a Band 6 Renal Dietitian, you will play a key role in delivering high-quality dietetic care across a variety of settings, including: inpatient service; haemodialysis patients (both in-centre and satellite units); pre-dialysis outpatient clinics

The role is primarily based at the Royal London Hospital, with up to one day per week at dialysis satellite units in East London. East London has a diverse and multicultural community and pockets of deprivation.

You will join a dynamic and forward-thinking renal dietetic team comprising nine dietitians and one assistant dietetic practitioner. The team is actively involved in audit, research, and service development.

We are hopefully to secure more funding for this role in the future and would welcome applicants who have the flexibility to increase their hours in the future if this was the case

Main duties of the job

To provide a specialist clinical dietetic service at Band 6 level to patients cared for by the Bart's Health Renal Services. This will include renal wards at the Royal London Hospital; renal outpatient and dialysis patients at Newham University Hospital, Hornchurch Dialysis Unit, Whipps Cross Hospital, King George's Hospital or other Satellite units which may be opened in the future. The main base will be at The Royal London Hospital but there is a requirement to visit your designated satellite unit to provide dietetic services.

We are looking for a dietitian to work in a PCN in Wolverhampton. This is a fixed-term maternity cover cover role. The dietitian has to work in-person.

We support and help dietitians become first contact dietitians (FCDs).

First Contact Dietitians are qualified autonomous clinical practitioners working in GP practices who can assess, diagnose, treat, and manage dietetic problems and undifferentiated conditions, and where appropriate, to discharge a person without a medical referral.

FCDs are a key multidisciplinary team member in primary care and support reducing GP workload. FCDs working in this role can be accessed directly by self-referral or staff in GP practices can direct patients to them to establish a rapid and accurate management plan to streamline pathways of care.

Main duties of the job

The dietitian will be a highly skilled, senior practitioner able to operate at an advanced level of clinical practice, with expert knowledge in the management of patients dietary issues and conditions. They will work as an integral part of the multi-disciplinary team (MDT) within the PCN.

The dietitian will provide person centred interventions for the patient from initial clinical assessment, diagnosis, treatment and evaluation of their care within set patient groups. They will demonstrate safe, clinical decision-making and expert care for patients within the general practice. They will work collaboratively with the general practice MDT to meet the needs of patients, support the delivery of policy and procedures, and provide dietetic leadership as required.

The role requires the dietitian to work in-practice, and work closely with a forward thinking and passionate multi-disciplinary team.

This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated Specialist Dietitian who has an interest in working in a Community Adult Eating Disorder Service, on a 12-month Fixed Term Contract covering maternity leave. This role is part of the current transformation programme across mental health services within Essex.We are a Trust wide service and the postholder will be expected to work in other locations in the Trust as required. The post holder will provide specialist dietetic input to adults with eating disorders in the community, including in the FREED pathway. The ENERGISE-BD trial (Evaluating Nutritional Ketosis versus NHS EatWell Recommended Guidelines for Bipolar Disorder) is a randomised controlled trial for bipolar depression. It will compare the efficacy of nutritional ketosis approach with the NHS EatWell dietary guidelines.

Main duties of the job

Contribute as a key member of a team of researchers, alongside a Senior Dietitian (Jude Munn), recruiting patients and guiding these patients on the two dietary interventions being tested in this study and other clinical research (70% of time)

Collecting data on participants in the study, specifically relating to progress with delivering both of the nutritional interventions (10%)

Providing day-to-day supervision and support to other members of the ENERGISE-BD team, including a postdoctoral researcher and a clinical research fellow (5% of time).

Maintain accurate and up-to-date records to document recruitment progress and present progress reporting data at management group meetings (5%).

Contribute to the presentation of research findings at national and international level conferences (if appropriate) (5% of time)

Maintain clinical skills by participation in continuing professional development (for example on the flexible delivery of nutritional ketosis approaches), as agreed with line manager (5% of time).

This varied role combines two weekly onsite gastroenterology outpatient clinics with the management of a gastrosurgical and colorectal surgical inpatient caseload. Based on staff feedback, we recently introduced a new rotational program for Band 6 Dietitians. This rotational post will support the department to deliver high quality care to patients treated in the specialist areas of critical care, gastroenterology or surgery at the John Radcliffe Hospital, Oxford.

This permanent position would be ideal for a Dietitian with an interest in acute nutrition, critical care, gastroenterology and/or surgery. We are looking for a dietitian with a solid foundation in general dietetics to work closely with Band 7 specialist dietitians in their rotational clinical areas, along with static Band 6 specialist dietitians and supporting rotational Band 5 dietitians.

Main duties of the job

Main duties of the job

1. To provide a specialist dietetic service to the Specialist Eating Disorders pathway(Beacon).

2. To provide a specialist dietetic service to the tertiary CAMH in patient units.

3. To nutritionally diagnose, give appropriate advice and formulate treatment plans when consulting with patients, relatives and carers, taking into account factors such as the clients presenting condition, past medical history, social considerations and medication

We have an exciting opportunity for a part time Dietitian to join our Primary Care team at HMP Eastwood Park, located in Gloucestershire

HMP Eastwood Park is a women's prison focused on rehabilitation, wellbeing, and helping individuals build positive futures. Health care is situated in the prison and provides a 24 hour healthcare and has a capacity of around 400 females.

As part of this Dietitian role, you will have a varied and rewarding workload, including managing a clinical caseload, delivering training and upskilling staff, facilitating group sessions for patients.

This is an excellent opportunity to shape the role and make it your own. You'll have the autonomy to develop services, introduce new ideas

Hours:

• Monday - Friday
• 18.75 hours per week
• We are flexible in the working days / hours

Salary

Youll receive an annual salary between £21,805 - £24,578 per annum, depending on experience.
