Job summary

We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Senior Healthcare Assistant (Senior HCA) to join a friendly, welcoming GP Surgery in central Norwich.

The successful applicant will have excellent communication skills, be a strong team player, and support colleagues to ensure the highest possible standard of care for our registered patients.

Experience of working in Primary Care, together with a knowledge of the SystmOne clinical system is desirable.

Main duties of the job

Key Responsibilities,

Phlebotomy
Blood pressure monitoring
ECGs
Health checks and NHS Health Checks
Wound care and dressings
Assisting with chronic disease reviews
Health promotion including weight, height and lifestyle advice
Diabetic pre assessments and foot checks
Administering B12, flu and other vaccinations
Urine checks

Additional Responsibilities,

LD and ADHD checks
Dementia reviews
Supporting minor surgery clinics
