We are looking for an enthusiastic and ambitious pharmacist with experience of working in a hospital pharmacy to join our clinical education and training team. The posts will be managed by our new lead Pharmacist for Education and Training. Main duties of the job
With the integration of independent prescribing into the pharmacy degree; it is necessary to redesign the year 3 placements so that the undergraduate students are exposed to active pharmacist decision making and prescribing in a patient setting and be taught good consultation and counselling skills.

This would be an ideal role for an individual who is enthusiastic about education and training, with a keen interest in research. The design and implementation of our current placements have been written up and published in educational journals; and we are keen that this legacy is continued. The postholder will be given the opportunity to assist with input into dissertation and MSc projects.
We recognize that ongoing development of the post holders' clinical skills is important and so the post holders will be aligned to a clinical specialty for their ward based work when not supervising the students.
