Our Mental Health Liaison team based at the West Suffolk Hospital (WSH) in Bury St Edmunds has an exciting opportunity for a Mental Health Nurse or Social Worker to join their fantastic team on a permanent part time basis.

This role is there to support those attending the WSH with new or ongoing mental health difficulties and illness; to identify their needs, ensuring these are met effectively whilst in hospital and to contribute towards timely/supportive discharge planning.

Our vital service operates 24/7, 365 days of the year which means will be expected to work a shift pattern.

The NSFT East Suffolk Mental Health Liaison Service is an age-inclusive service, responding to referrals for people of all ages within the acute hospital.

This is a key leadership role within a fast-paced environment, providing oversight of specialist mental health assessment, risk management and short-term intervention for individuals presenting with a wide range of mental health needs. An opportunity has arisen for an HCPC registered Practitioner Psychologist (Clinical/Forensic/Counselling) to join the Adult Mental Health Forensic Psychology Service (AFPS) to work across the Community Forensic Team (CFT) and Beech Low Secure Unit (LSU) in Hertfordshire.

The CFT covers the whole of Hertfordshire and provides services for HPFT service users who have offended and are at high risk of further offending, both those stepping down into the community from secure services or prison and those referred from community or other inpatient wards. The CFT works closely with community teams across Hertfordshire as well as secure services and other agencies involved in service users' lives. The team is currently in the process of expanding, due to an increase in funding from the East of England Provider Collaborative, in order to provide enhanced services to the highest risk service users, to facilitate their step down from secure services and support them in the community. This is an exciting opportunity to be involved in developing and expanding the service.

Beech LSU is a 15 bed male only unit, providing care for service users stepping down from medium secure care or admitted from prison. The Multidisciplinary Team (MDT) work closely to assess and manage risks posed by service users and move them towards discharge into the community. The MDT works closely with HPFT community services and with other agencies involved with the service user.

Main duties of the job

This post is an opportunity to work with a complex and interesting group of service users, both directly and through consultation to other professionals, in a person centred and positive way to help them to manage their offending behaviour and make changes in their lives. We are looking for a Senior Occupational Therapist to help develop the Daycare team in HMP Norwich. We are a small and friendly multi-professional team consisting of a Lead Therapist and a Psychotherapist who work alongside two Assistant Practitioners and a Senior Mental Health Nurse providing therapeutic input to prisoners at HMP Norwich.

We work with prisoners who self-harm, have suicidal thoughts, or may have attempted suicide. Many of these people experience high levels of anxiety and have a history of trauma or PTSD diagnosis. Many of the people accessing the service have an Assessment Care in Custody and Teamwork (ACCT) document in place to support them. We offer therapeutic approaches in DBT and CBT as well as having an established trauma pathway, which includes emotional regulation work.

Main duties of the job

The team are looking for a Senior Occupational Therapist to support with the development of the Daycare pathways.

As a Senior Occupational Therapist, you will be expected to take on line management responsibilities for the assistants within the team, to lead on the running of therapeutic groups with a range of disciplines, to carry out joint assessments and to assist with writing formulations and discharge reports.

You will also be expected to work 1:1 with prisoners in delivering interventions. You will be invited to attend and contribute to ongoing referral meetings and to engage in regular clinical supervision to access support and continue developing your expertise.

We work closely with the NSFT Mental Health In Reach team, the IAPT/Wellbeing team and the wider and Secure and Forensic services. An important part of this role is to build links with the prison as well as ongoing support services. However, Daycare staff need to also have an awareness of what community and/or third sector organisations are available to support either by in reaching into the Prison, and/or to support those coming towards the end of their sentences.

The Wellbeing Service is part of the national IAPT programme, aimed at helping people acrossSuffolk aged 16 and over, who are suffering with mild to moderately severe anxiety and depression.

The Wellbeing Service is expanding, and we work closely with community colleagues to support people living with Long Term Conditions as well as our core work. Main duties of the job

You will provide high intensity interventions to a range of adults with anxiety, depression and trauma related problems. You will receive regular supervision as well as in service training and CPD days that ensure your continued learning and development. This is an opportunity to join an established team of Psychological Therapists providing a range of NICE compliant treatments at Step 3. You will work as part of a multi-disciplinary team.

Experience of working in Primary Care will be an advantage. As well as 1:1 work you may be expected to co-facilitate group interventions. For the delivery of group work we provide training and additional support, should you need it.

As a Band 7 therapist, you will contribute to the on-going development and evaluation of the service.

The post will be based in one of our sites in Ipswich or Bury St Edmunds, dependent on applicants own location, however, there is a requirement to work across Suffolk as required. Job summary

We are seeking a Clinical, Counselling or Forensic Psychologist (Band 8a) to join the Norfolk and Suffolk Offender Personality Disorder (OPD) Service for 22.5 hours per week. Applications are also welcomed from experienced Band 7 Psychologists wishing to progress through a supported preceptorship pathway into the full Band 8a role.

This varied post spans two complementary services: the Core OPD Service and IIRMS (see descriptions below). The role combines consultation, training, reflective practice, formulation-led intervention and multi-agency collaboration. Intensive Intervention and Risk Management Service (IIRMS)

The Intensive Intervention and Risk Management Service (IIRMS) is a specialist, formulation-driven service supporting a small caseload of approximately 15 service users at any one time. The service works with individuals presenting with high levels of complexity, need and risk and provides intensive support through a "through the gate" approach, supporting people as they transition from custody into the community for up to two years. The service aims to improve engagement, wellbeing, stability and risk management through psychologically informed interventions and close multi-agency working.

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a highly motivated individual to join us as a Tobacco Dependence Advisor (TDA), supporting the delivery of the new Emergency Department Stop Smoking Service operating within Norfolk's three acute hospital Trusts. You will be based at James Paget University Hospital.

Although the post will have a designated base, the service operates across Norfolk's three acute hospital sites, and the post holder may be required to work flexibly across the Trust throughout the contract. This may include travelling to and working from different sites, such as:

The aim of this role is to proactively identify and engage adult smokers, including both patients and accompanying adults. You will provide brief interventions, offer advice, supply a vape kit, and deliver evidence-based support to help individuals begin their journey toward stopping smoking.

This role is ideal for a Health Care Assistant seeking a new challenge, or someone with Lifestyle Services experience and a passion for improving public health. We also welcome applications from individuals who bring lived experience of tobacco dependence or behaviour change, as this insight can greatly enhance empathetic, patient-centred support.

• To promote the new service in Norfolk Acute Trusts
• Proactively identify and engage with adult patients and visitors attending the three Emergency Departments in Norfolk who smoke and deliver Very Brief Advice (VBA) informing and encouraging them to engage with the smoking cessation services on offer.
• Providing immediate, evidence-based, non-judgemental advice and support using brief intervention models tailored to the Emergency Department setting.
• Offering free vape starter kits to support immediate quit attempts, consistent with national harm reduction guidance.
• Recording engagement, quit attempts, and referrals to inform performance monitoring, service evaluation, and reporting.
• Maintaining contact with the patient, contacting them within 48 hours of engagement and at least once a week prior to the 28-day quit date up to 6 weeks.
• Working to monthly targets to ensure that KPIs are met and adapt and target delivery in line with projected outcomes for long term success.

Job summary

We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Specialist Child and Adolescent Mental Health Senior Practitioner to join the Complex Health Hub at NNUH. This role forms part of the wider Complex Health Hub which is responsible for Safeguarding, Mental Health, Dementia, Learning Disability and Autism, Substance Misuse, MCA & DoLs, Homelessness and Prison Healthcare.

We are a team who all have strong motivations to provide the best care possible for those with mental health needs whilst they are with us within the NNUH, you will have the benefit of being able to work autonomously whilst having a supportive team around you to guide decisions where needed.

We pride ourselves on promoting mental health within the wider hospital and best practice for managing complex cases within a busy acute hospital.

The post holder will provide advice, guidance and care planning to those patients who require intervention for their Mental Health whilst an inpatient at NNUH. This will include the opportunity to gain experience and knowledge of communicating and working closely with wider system partners, in order for a safe and appropriate discharge for any young person with mental health needs from the hospital.

The role will also involve regular contact with system partners to ensure an equitable service for this patient group.

Main duties of the job

The post holder will be expected to Lead the delivery of integrated care planning and person -centred interventions for children and young people up to the age of 25 with an identified mental health need and / or complex psychological needs whilst working alongside the multidisciplinary team in the implementation and review.

The post holder will be expected to be able to provide expert advice, guidance and support to staff in how to support the management of high risk patients using least restrictive and compassionate practice, whilst role modelling best practice.

The post holder will be expected to work in effective partnership with senior clinicians at NNUH, NSFT, NHSE, ICB, Social Care and CPFT to ensure appropriate pathways for accessing the correct clinical care, in the correct environment for our patients.

The applicant will need to be proactive and able to work autonomously within the NNUH, providing advice, guidance and signposting to young people, their families, wider support networks and ward staff.

Communication is key to this role, alongside a visible presence within the clinical areas of the hospital.

Would you like to use your electronics skills in a role that directly supports patient care?

We are seeking a practical, and enthusiastic electronics engineer or technician to join our Radiotherapy Physics team. You will work with specialist radiotherapy equipment, supporting routine quality assurance, preventive maintenance, equipment testing, technical fault-finding, and also with our Mould Room team creating patient specific equipment for patients undergoing radiotherapy. You will develop skills in Radiotherapy engineering, calibration, workshop fabrication, patient immobilisation creation and 3D printing.

You do not need previous radiotherapy or NHS experience. We will provide the training and supervision needed to develop safely and confidently in the role.

We are interested in candidates from a wide range of technical backgrounds, including electronics repair, calibration, manufacturing, field service, medical devices, aviation, defence and engineering maintenance. Applications are welcome from graduates, HND or BTEC-qualified technicians.

The role will have a fixed working pattern associated with it and the hours of work will be from 06:45 to 14:45, Monday to Friday, with no routine night or shift work. There is also NHS benefits and the opportunity to develop a rewarding specialist career within healthcare technology.

Main duties of the job

As post holder, your duties will include:

• Maintain and service all radiotherapy equipment.
• Fault find and carry out emergency repairs to all radiotherapy equipment.
• Perform safety and quality assurance checks on all radiotherapy equipment.
• Keep up to date records of all service work, repairs and QA checks.
• Liaise with Radiographer and Radiotherapy Physics scientific staff in respect of machine performance to ensure safe radiotherapy treatment.
• Participation in maintaining the Departmental ISO9001:2015 quality system including review of procedures, writing of work instructions, carrying out audits.

HPFT's Children and Young People's Mental Health Service (CYPMHS - formerly known as CAMHS)has been at the forefront of national developments in CYPMHS, including CAPA and CYP-IAPT, and Hertfordshire is an i-Thrive accelerator service. The HPFT CYPMH service includes four community based 'tier 3' teams, a crisis assessment/treatment team (C-CATT), a DBT service, an Eating Disorder Team, an inpatient unit (Forest House) and a Targeted Team for looked after children. We offer a range of psychological therapies across these teams. We have close links with other agencies including the local 'tier 2' CYPM service, school link workers, Mental Health Support Teams, and children's social services.

We offer placements to trainees within all psychological therapies and have strong links with local training courses. We value clinical supervision, both peer group and individual. Main duties of the job

As a senior clinician in the team, you would work closely with the Consultant Psychologist and the Quadrant Leadership Team to lead the clinical work within the wider team as well as manage your own core and specialist caseloads, whilst taking an active role in developing systemic psychotherapy provision in the team and the wider service. You would have close links with the professional lead for systemic psychotherapy and would join the systemic psychotherapy professional network within HPFT CAMHS. Locally, you would be working within a multidisciplinary team.
