Dorset CAMHS is transforming into a Family Mental Health Service, guided by the THRIVE framework. This is an exciting opportunity to join a forward-thinking team and help shape services that put children, young people and families at the centre of care.
As an IAPT Neurodevelopmental Practitioner, you will work within a multidisciplinary team to support children and young people with neurodevelopmental needs across our ADHD and Autism pathways. You will hold a caseload, providing regular reviews, care coordination, post-diagnostic support, and practical advice to children, young people and their families. We are looking for someone who is compassionate, enthusiastic and committed to delivering high-quality, evidence-based care. In return, you'll join a welcoming team where collaboration, innovation and professional development are actively encouraged.
This is a full-time position; however, part-time hours of 30 hours or more will be considered. Flexible working options may be available.
Join us and help make a positive difference to the lives of children, young people and families across Dorset.
Main duties of the job

This is a pan-Dorset role with a temporary base during service transformation. As the service continues to develop, flexibility will be required to support changing service needs. The ability to travel independently across Dorset is essential.

Annual staff surveys, regular Pulse surveys and other engagement opportunities provide our people with lots of opportunity to tell us about their experiences of working with us. In the latest staff survey, 61% of colleagues gave us their views. It was great to hear that:
- 72% of colleagues would recommend the Trust as a place to work, ranking us 1st for Provider Trusts in the South West region on this question.
- 76% would recommend the standard of care provided in our services if a friend or relative needed treatment, also ranking us 1st in the South West region.

This high-level overview shows we are in a healthy position, with higher scores than average for comparable organisations, alongside a great response rate, indicating good staff engagement. However, we also know we have plenty of room for improvement in many areas. To that end, we continue to prioritise and invest in our commitment to genuinely becoming a Great Place to Work with consistent top-quartile performance in the annual staff survey and Pulse surveys.
