When you receive a call, you are responsible for recording accurate information, sometimes under difficult circumstances and offering advice or reassurance to the caller/patient. Please note that this role is 24/7 365 days a year (including bank holidays, weekends, days, nights etc.) and we work shifts to achieve this.
Shortlisted candidates will be invited to attend an assessment centre.
For a further insight to this role, please view the following video https://vimeo.com/742269034/8e60f54da6
Please note, we are recruiting to a holding pool for our next course intakes.
About us
Working for us is an experience like no other. We provide emergency and urgent care, 24 hours a day, 365 days a year, operating across the largest ambulance region in England and responding to an average of 2,650 incidents every day.

The role is based in Bristol, a lively yet laid-back city with top class shopping, street food, dynamic events and friendly festivals and excellent national and international transport links.
If you embody our values of one team, compassionate and innovative and are looking to make a real difference to peoples' lives, then we would love to hear from you.

You will have opportunities to progress to roles across the Trust and enjoy continuous professional development.

About us
As one of the largest acute teaching Trusts in England, we offer learning and development opportunities to help you achieve the career you aspire to. UHS is rated 'Good' by the CQC and in the latest national NHS Staff Survey, we were in the top 10 acute trusts for staff engagement and for staff recommending the hospital as a place to work or receive care.

We believe that using technology wisely shows strong time management and commitment to innovation. However, personalising your recruitment application to highlight your unique skills and experiences is crucial. Relying too heavily on generic, AI-generated content instead of drawing from your own strengths and accomplishments may lead to your application being rejected if multiple candidates present identical or similar information.
