We are seeking an enthusiastic, innovative and clinically confident ACP to deliver advanced assessment, clinical decision-making and treatment to adults with complex, urgent and changing healthcare needs.

Job responsibilities
A role where you can really make a difference.
Evenings and nights can be challenging times for patients, families and professionals. Access to senior clinical decision-making can make the difference between a patient being admitted to hospital and receiving the right intervention safely at home.

You will be able to bring advanced clinical expertise directly into the community, supporting nurses to manage complexity and providing an additional level of clinical assessment and decision-making when other services may be less accessible.
You will be encouraged to challenge traditional ways of working and help us develop pathways that provide responsive, safe and patient-centred care outside of hospital.
For full details of the duties and criteria please refer to the job description and person specification attached.

We're a Disability Confident Committed company, so we work to provide facilities, work environment adjustments and technical solutions to be as inclusive of everyone. As you'd expect, safeguarding and protecting the children, young people and vulnerable adults that we work with is of the utmost importance so we have policies and procedures in place to promote safeguarding and safer working practices and everyone who joins the team is subject to a safer recruitment process, including the disclosure of criminal records and vetting checks.

The role will offer the opportunity to contribute to shaping and developing the day service for young people with eating disorders, as well as supporting those with other mental health difficulties who may benefit from a day service provision as an alternative to hospital admission.
The post is offered as a secondment / fixed-term until 30th September 2027.
This role is central to the delivery of intensive, community-based support aimed at preventing hospital admission. The service combines multi-family group therapy sessions with targeted home-based interventions provided by our Closer2Home team. We are seeking a motivated and skilled Occupational Therapist with experience in Child and Adolescent Mental Health Services (CAMHS) and/or eating disorders. The successful candidate will bring strong clinical skills, flexibility, and a passion for working collaboratively with families. Main duties of the job
To provide specialist occupational therapy assessments and interventions to children and young people at the day service.
Deliver individual and group-based therapeutic programmes.
Complete risk assessments and contribute to risk management planning.
Work as part of a multidisciplinary team to provide holistic, person-centred care. Liaising with families, carers and partner agencies to support positive outcomes.
Maintain accurate clinical records and outcome measures. Supporting service development, supervision and training activities.
