We have a fantastic opportunity for Band 6 Occupational Therapists within our Children's Occupational Therapy Service. We are also delighted to offer these as developmental roles, starting at Band 5 with a structured pathway to progress to Band 6 on completion of competencies.

We are looking for Occupational Therapists who are enthusiastic, creative and passionate with their clinical skills in working with children and young people to reach their potential and empower them to thrive in everyday occupations.

You will work as part of a friendly, supportive, and forward-thinking team dedicated to providing a high-quality Occupational Therapy Service to children up to 18 years old who have functional difficulties within self -care, play and/or school occupations. Main duties of the job

This role will deliver evidence-based occupational therapy within a tiered Universal-Targeted-Targeted+-Specialist framework, providing coaching, consultation and modelling of OT strategies in real school environments. Day-to-day practice includes supporting whole-school approaches, delivering targeted interventions, implementing therapy programmes, and collaborating with teachers, SENDCOs and families to improve functional outcomes for children and young people. Working within a targeted+ and specialist caseload, completing assessment and interventions in context for children with occupational performance needs and functional difficulties.

To be responsible for a clinical caseload and to develop and provide a specialist paediatric occupational therapy service, undertaking assessment, interpretation of assessment results, evaluation, treatment, and advice.

To carry out assessments and evaluate the child's occupational performance through, e.g. the use of standardised and non-standardised assessments, observation, interview with parent or carer and/or parent and teacher questionnaires.

To develop, plan and implement specialist Occupational Therapy treatment programme and strategies to enhance the child's ability to perform everyday activities and participate in multiple environments through, e.g. verbal and written advice and recommendations, written advice sheets, individual treatment and/or group therapy.

To provide a clinical and advisory SLT service to pre-school children, some schoolage children and young people with diverse speech, language, and communication needs, including social communication differences/ Autism. We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated Band 7 Highly Specialist Speech and Language Therapist to lead the delivery of communication and dysphagia support across complex needs special schools and mainstream schools in Greenwich.

The post holder will combine a highly specialist clinical role with responsibility for the day-to-day leadership of a team of Speech and Language Therapists and Assistants. They will independently assess and manage children with highly complex communication and dysphagia needs, provide specialist advice and second opinions, and work closely with children, families, education staff and health and social care partners.

An opportunity has arisen for a motivated and dynamic Assistant Psychologist to join the Bexley ADAPT Team, in a full-time permanent post. The post holder will support and enhance the psychological care of clients under the ADAPT (Anxiety, Depression, Affective Disorders, Personality Disorders and Trauma) pathway, through inputting into the assessment and treatment process, and also gathering data to support service audit, evaluation and research.

Main duties of the job

The post holder will work closely with the Service Lead for Children's Speech and Language Therapy and they will join the other highly specialist speech and language therapists in coordinating care across the borough. Structured Clinical Management (SCM) is an evidence-based treatment for service-users with Severe Mental Health difficulties. The Croydon locality has adopted SCM as the framework for healthcare across the Directorate, embedding it in its operational policies. We are seeking to employ and support a Mental Health and Wellbeing Practitioner to take on a role as an SCM Aligned Care Coordinator within the Central CMHT. They will offer assessments and deliver high quality SCM treatment for the Secondary Care group. This will involve both individual case management and low intensity psychological interventions.

• To deliver a set of wellbeing-focused psychologically-informed interventions, aligned to cognitive-behavioural principles, that address problems often experienced by people with severe mental health problems.
