We currently have an exciting opportunity for an Assistant Psychologist to work in the Autism and Learning Disabilities Team. The role requires a dynamic, engaging and flexible psychology graduate with excellent interpersonal and communication skills. The team based at the Tavistock Centre and is an up to 25 years of age specialist mental health service for autistic and/or learning disabled young people and their families.

The post provides an excellent opportunity to gain clinical skills in assessment and intervention, as well as service delivery, clinical audit and evaluation. There will also be opportunities for clinical work alongside members of the multidisciplinary team.

The position will suit an individual who is self-motivated, with excellent literacy and data analysis skills. You will need to be highly motivated and enjoy working in a fast-paced environment.

Applicants will be expected to hold a BPS approved degree in Psychology (upper second or first class) and have experience of working in a mental health setting. Experience of working with autistic children and young people and formal training in relevant diagnostic tools (e.g. ADOS-2, ADI-R) are highly desirable for this role.

Main duties of the job

The role involves supporting Clinical Psychologists and other multidisciplinary team members in their work. For this role, there is a particular emphasis on diagnostic assessment for young people where there are concerns about social communication and interaction as well as their mental health. In addition to contributing to multidisciplinary autism assessments, the post-holder will be supporting with waiting list oversight, coordination of referrals and evaluation of clinical support.

There will be opportunities for service-related research and audit, as well as the chance to take part in user involvement and quality improvement projects.

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a qualified HCPC registered Practitioner Psychologist to join NLFT's Older Adult Psychology Team.

This is part-time Band 7 post working on our Older Adult Inpatient Wards and in Islington Services for Ageing and Mental Health (SAMH) Community Mental Health Team.

You will be part of a large Older Adult psychology service comprised of Clinical, Counselling and Assistant Psychologists. Special interests in the service include Systemic Psychotherapy, EMDR, ACT, working with carers and research. .

We welcome a Clinical Psychologist to our integrated multi-agency service, a partnership between East Sussex County Council (ESCC) - Children's Services and Sussex Partnership NHS Foundation Trust (SPFT) CAMHS. As a valued member of the collaborative SWIFT Children's Assessment and Treatment (SWIFT CAT) team you will contribute to work that can have a profound and lasting impact on the lives of vulnerable children and their families.

We are looking for a qualified Clinical Associate Psychologist to join the East CAMHS Team

SABP Mental Health Support Teams in Schools have an exciting opportunity for Recruit to Train Trainee CBT Therapists to join our team as part of the NHS England funded Children and Young People (CYP) Psychological Training Programmes (formerly CYP-IAPT). We are looking for an enthusiastic clinical or counselling psychologist to work within the Brent Integrated Psychology & Psychotherapy Service (BIPPS) and Brent Community Mental Health Hub (BCMHH) .

Job summary

This is an opportunity to work into the ICU Service of Imperial College Healthcare NHS Trust (ICHT), providing psychological care to the patients & families, as well as helping staff manage the emotional challenges of the work.

This .8 WTE Band 7 Maternity cover post (for 11 months) will be based at Charing Cross Hospital, but will liaise with the teams at the other sites and may be asked to work at the other sites. The post will be part of a team of 4 qualified Psychologists and an Assistant Psychologist, along with trainees on placements. The ICU psychology team is part of the wider supportive Clinical Health Psychology department which has its base at St Mary's Hospital, and offers supervision, peer support and access to CPD.

We will welcome applications from those with experience of working in acute hospitals and with a real interest in health psychology. The postholder will be able to tolerate an emotionally and logistically pressured environment (including exposure to critical illness, trauma and end of life) and will thrive on being able to work closely with a wide range of other professionals, bringing a high standard of theoretical and clinical expertise to patient care. This post would require significant movement around the ward, clinic spaces and the hospital including use of stairs, sitting or standing for extended periods. An opportunity has arisen for an experienced Clinical Psychologist to apply for the role of Principal Clinical Psychologist in the West Complex Needs Service. The Complex Needs Service plays a key role in delivering mental health care for adults with personality-based difficulties and complex trauma. The post-holder will be part of a leadership team that helps co-ordinate and implement direct and indirect psychological care to our client group, whilst also helping to support the wider system that works with our clients.

CNS West offer a range of psychological therapies including Structured Clinical Management, Dialectical Behaviour Therapy and Mentalisation Based Therapy. We have recently commenced implementing a Cognitive Analytic Therapy pathway, with the support from senior operational management, and have access to METIP Health Education England funded training. We would welcome applications from candidates with previous experience in evidence based psychological models for the treatment of complex emotional needs and experience of working with high levels of relational trauma. Accredited supervisor status is considered highly desirable as a significant part of the role involves supervision, consultation and leadership.

Main duties of the job

Psychological approaches are highly valued within our team and Clinical Psychologists are integral in this process, providing specialist assessment and interventions, as well as contributing to the clinical thinking and decision making of the team. The post-holder will join a supportive and friendly senior leadership team which includes other clinical psychologists and other professionals. Alongside their leadership roles, they will also carry a clinical caseload, working directly and indirectly with service users. Essential

• Doctorate in clinical psychology, Counselling psychology or equivalent
• Current registration as a practitioner psychologist with the Health Care Professions Council

Desirable

• Training course in clinical supervision

Knowledge and Skills

Essential

• Demonstrable understanding of the roles of a clinical psychologist within multi-professional health teams in relation to the young person/adult, the staff team and the organisation
• Demonstrable understanding of the implications of acute and long-term conditions and disability for young people/adults as applicable
• Demonstrable knowledge of legislation and guidance pertaining to safeguarding of children and vulnerable adults, consent, confidentiality and standards of psychological care within relevant NICE and other guidance.(A/I)
• Knowledge of the theory and practice of specialised psychological assessments and interventions for children and young people with diabetes
• Theoretical knowledge of psychopathology and the evidence base for the relevant treatment of common mental health difficulties experienced by children and young people with diabetes

Job summary

An opportunity has arisen to recruit to our well established and supportive Primary Care Psychological Therapies Service, based in Chester. The role can be offered at band 8a for suitably qualified and experienced candidates, or as a band 7/8a development post for newlyqualified psychologists. We would welcome candidates with an interest in working with adults of working age. There is the flexibility of either full or part-time hours. For those thinking of applying for the development post, we have a clear plan to support the successful applicants in meeting the competencies for 8a.

The Primary Care Psychology Team are part of a stepped care model and have close working relationships and links with the other steps in the service and teams within the trust. We provide assessment, consultation, and a range of therapeutic interventions (both individual and group) to clients referred to our service.

Main duties of the job

The post holder will be responsible for providing assessments, formulations, and therapeutic interventions (both individually and in group format) to people with complex psychological and mental health difficulties. The post holder will also support the wider team to developpsychological understandings of people's difficulties through consultation, supervision, and training.

The post holder will be joining an established and growing team with clear job plans and continued opportunities for training and development across the service. Based near the historical Roman city of Chester, the service has good links with the three local universities (Liverpool, Lancaster and Manchester) providing ample opportunity to develop supervisory skills and to support trainees with research projects/audits and input into the teaching programmes.The service currently offers flexible working with a mixture of both remote and face to face encouraged.
