We are recruiting for a full-time Clinical or Counselling Psychologists, on a fixed-term basis of one year, to join our friendly, experienced & supportive Community Mental Health Psychological Therapies (CMHPT) team. Additional training and experience in CBT for Psychosis would be highly valued.

As part of our well-established service, you will provide evidence-based, trauma-informed psychological therapies for adults across Bracknell and Berkshire, working closely with Community Mental Health Services and multidisciplinary colleagues. Deliver evidence based therapeutic interventions using a range of psychological techniques and modalities.

Collaborate with multidisciplinary team clinicians and multi-agency representatives to ensure the delivery of integrated and holistic client care.

In line with experience and role development plans, provide supervision and mentorship to junior clinicians and trainees, contributing to their professional development and enhancing the treatment they offer.

Regularly undertake applied research, adding to the evidence base for practice, development activities and participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance the overall effectiveness of clinical services.

We are offering an exciting fixed term post (0.35WTE) within the large regional plastic surgery unit of the Royal Free Hospital, where you will join the plastic surgery psychology team consisting of b8b lead and 1.2WTE b8a. The post is based at the Royal Free Hospital and will offer you opportunities to develop clinical skills in a supported environment focused on managing long-term conditions and adjustment to disease and injury within an MDT setting.

The plastic surgery psychology team is an established and well-regarded specialist team based within the larger surgical department. The surgery largely covers reconstructive surgery in the context of disease (often cancer) or injury (often hand trauma) and has some specialisms around rare diseases (e.g. scleroderma) or complex surgery (e.g. facial reanimation).

You will also have access to the Trust's psychological support structure including access to specialist supervision groups, regular training events and collaboration with colleagues from the same profession.

Main duties of the job

You will be responsible for providing psychological care across both our in-patient and out-patient service, face-to-face and virtually. The focus of clinical work is often on decision-making, addressing the psychological consequences of injury or disease, removing barriers to rehabilitation and care or work around body image and appearance. You will be expected to provide guidance to colleagues and families as appropriate and engage in joint work, as well as attend multi-disciplinary meetings. There are other opportunities for training our colleagues. You can also gain experience in service development and supervision. Environmental Services Porter will assist the Deputy Environmental Service Manager in providing an efficient waste collection service for all wastes generated from the Trust. Main duties of the job

The main duties include collections of dirty and infected laundry, cardboard/sharps, biohazard/hazardous clinical wastes and recyclables in line with the work schedule. The use of an electric tug to transport waste bins and the use of good manual handling.

Carry out general waste and clinical collections duties of a routine nature on a daily basis which include:

Collect all hospital clinical waste, cardboard and clinical sharps, dirty and infected laundry in accordance with schedules set by the Environmental Services Manager.

Communicate with Ward Management if wastes are not presented for collection in accordance with Policy, and to report non-conformances to the Team Leader.

To respond to radio generated collections in a timely manner, and pass accurate information back to Radio Controller if jobs are unable to be completed.

To ensure that all collections from clinical waste storage areas are completed as per work schedules, and are checked on a regular basis. Collections may vary according to Incinerator plant availability, and own initiative must be used at all times.

To complete tasks unsupervised at all times when on shift.

We are seeking experienced and compassionate Clinical or Counselling Psychologists who are passionate about delivering high-quality psychological care and shaping the future of community mental health services.

We are recruiting into an 8a Senior Practitioner Psychologist post within the Complex Needs Service Line for the Surrey Heath Neighbourhood Mental Health Team based in Frimley (Theta House). This is a senior role for Clinical or Counselling Psychologists who are motivated to drive service development, champion psychologically informed care, and support multidisciplinary teams to deliver outstanding outcomes for people experiencing complex mental health difficulties.

This post will be supported and supervised by the respective place-based Lead Principal Psychologist with additional support of the locality Consultant Psychologist.

Main duties of the job

As a senior psychological professional within your Neighbourhood Team, you will be responsible for delivering specialist psychological assessment, formulation and intervention for individuals with complex mental health needs, while also providing clinical leadership, consultation, supervision, teaching, service development, audit and research activities. The role requires working with multidisciplinary teams, service users and carers to ensureperson-centred, trauma-informed and evidence-based care while contributing to ongoing improvement and development of psychological services.

Deliver specialist psychological assessment, formulation and evidence-based interventions for individuals with complex mental health needs across community services.

Provide psychological leadership, consultation and expert advice to multidisciplinary teams, promoting trauma-informed and psychologically informed practice.

Undertake complex risk assessments and care planning, working collaboratively with service users, carers and partner agencies to support integrated care pathways.

Supervise, mentor and train assistant psychologists, trainees, junior psychological workforce and multidisciplinary staff, contributing to workforce development and professional standards.

Lead and contribute to service development, quality improvement, audit and research initiatives to enhance accessibility, effectiveness and equity of psychological services.

Job summary

Mental Health Wellbeing Practitioners (MHWP) are a new and exciting development in the NHS psychological workforce. Have you recently completed the PG Cert or Cert Grad to become a Mental Health Wellbeing Practitioner? Or are you currently undertaking the year long MHWP training? We are looking to employ a passionate Mental Health Wellbeing Practitioner in our Arun (Bognor) Neighbourhood Mental Heath Team (NMHT). You will work with a diverse group of professionals committed to providing evidence based care and high quality treatments to those with severe and complex mental health needs.

You will be part of a supportive multi-disciplinary team (MDT) that embraces the transformation and improvement of services. You will work closely with other Psychological Professionals and receive high standards of supervision. You will be part of a friendly and cohesive group of MHWPs with great connections to the wider MHWP community. MHWP's are valued team members and play a key role in MDT working. Main duties of the job

• Provide clients with psychologically informed interventions aligned to cognitive-behavioural principles, including: behavioural activation; graded exposure; problem solving skills; recognising and managing emotions; improving sleep; building confidence and other interventions you are trained in.
• Assess suitability for these interventions
• Risk assess and plan care collaboratively with service users
• Set collaborative goals for intervention with service users
• Implement pre and post outcome measures
• Form professional relationships and relate to service users in a way that respects their views, autonomy and culture
• Engage calmly and with sensitivity and empathy to support service users in distressing or emotional circumstances
• Demonstrate effective verbal and written communication skills
• When appropriate, take on the role of lead professional for a service user when work is being completed
• Regularly attend clinical supervision with a qualified psychological professional
• Work alongside service users, families, carers and M-D team members to support collaborative decision-making about care and treatment.
