We are seeking to appoint a dynamic and enthusiastic candidate to the role of Health Play Specialist within our Acute Play Services team, part of our Babies, Children's, & Young People Division.

This role is based at our North Middlesex University Health Unit and is offered at full time, working Monday - Friday working on our Play Services roster, and this role will include some weekend working.

The postholder will work across all areas of the health unit, including but not limited to, our:

We are looking to recruit an experienced Clinical Technologist / Dosimetrist to join our team.

You will play a key role in the provision of a technical/clinical service in Radiotherapy Physics, primarily in treatment planning.

This role carries the option to be part- or fully based at one of our satellites depending on applicant suitability and needs of our service. We also offer a comprehensive selection of flexible working arrangements.

Candidates must be registered with RCT or HCPC and have significant demonstrable experience in treatment planning.

Main duties of the job

The postholder will take a leading role in the provision of a technical/clinical service in Radiotherapy Physics, primarily in treatment planning.

You will provide expert advice to consultant oncologists and other healthcare professionals to resolve problems with complex radiotherapy equipment and treatment plans.You will also provide training for other Radiotherapy staff in treatment planning techniques and equipment QA, and help to develop new techniques for the service.

The OUH Radiotherapy Centre at the Churchill Hospital is a five linac, all-Varian (including Halcyon, TrueBeam) site with CT-sim, ARIA, Eclipse and HDR brachytherapy unit. Our existing satellite centre in Swindon operates a further two linacs and a CT-sim. A second satellite centre in Milton Keynes operating a single linac and CT-sim opened in 2025. Supporting systems include AI auto-contouring and RadCalc. We have a modern suite of treatment planning functionality including RapidPlan, MCO, HyperArc and Velocity, and we treat with a wide variety of techniques including SRS/SRT and SABR. We have a range of development work underway and on the horizon and also an active computing team working to develop software and scripts for automation and data analysis. We have close links with Oxford University and an expanding portfolio of clinical trials.

Islington Additional Needs and Disability Children's Service provides a multi-agency team approach to working with babies, children and young people who present with additional needs and complex disability. Within this service are teams providing assessment, diagnostic and therapy services to children in early years settings, special schools and mainstream schools.

The Therapy Assistant will support the therapists working in mainstream schools in Islington (school aged children and young people) and will be based at the Northern health centre, Holloway Road.

The Therapy Assistant will be responsible for carrying out individualised support and care to children and young people undergoing assessment and/or receiving interventions in clinic, schools and homes under supervision of qualified staff. She/ he will also undertake administrative and clinical duties to support the team including booking clinics, organising workshops, data collation and liaising with parents/carers.

Islington Additional Needs and Disability Team (IANDS) is a multidisciplinary service for children and young people 0-19.

We are seeking Band 3 Health Care Assistant to join our supportive team. The successful applicant will work across special schools in Islington: Richard Cloudesley school, Samuel Rhodes school and Bridge Academy. All three schools have been rated outstanding, and support children and young people with a variety of needs, including physical disabilities, learning difficulties and autistic spectrum conditions. This is an excellent opportunity for those wishing to gain experience in the healthcare field.

Your primary role will be assisting the school nursing team in the effective delivery of individualised support and care for children attending schools. Clinical responsibilities may include daily feeds via special feeding tubes (Nasogastric and Gastrostomy), giving medication and supporting with health care plans, including epilepsy plans. You may assist with suctioning, tracheostomy care, and other relevant health care activities. You will support children with their health care plans under supervision from a school nurse.

You will work alongside a team of experienced health care assistants, and full training and support will be provided by a School Nurse.

Main duties of the job

The Health Care Assistant/ Administrator will work as a member of the Special Needs School Nursing Team and will be responsible for assisting in the effective delivery of individualised support and care to children attending Special Schools in Islington. She/ he will undertake clerical and clinical duties as directed to provide a health service to children and young people.

The post holder will be based between Samuel Rhodes Primary and Secondary school, Richard Cloudesley Primary and Secondary schools. and Bridge Academy Primary and Secondary schools. A key part of the role is providing direct clinical support to children with their daily health care needs including administering gastrostomy feeds and medications. They will also be responsible for assisting the school Nurse with co-ordination of clinics, whole school input and training, liaison with other agencies and supporting children with their health care plans. They may assist other teams or departments within the service with their administrative tasks. They will receive regular supervision from the school nurse and participate in in-service training and team meetings.

This role is suited to an experienced speech and language therapist who is competent in the assessment and management of adults with communication and dysphagia in a range of specialties within both hospital and community settings. Assist in the dispensing of aseptically prepared products, usually intravenous injections or infusions, in accordance, at all times, with GMP and SOPs. Use the appropriate specialised equipment for the dispensing of aseptic products, such as isolators, syringes, needles and other consumables, and protective clothing. The use of isolators and protective clothing requires the post holder to work in a restricted environment with limited flexibility of movement for substantial periods of each day. Assist in the receipt of prescriptions, accurately and according to safe working practices. Take part in the ward visits, i.e. liaise with ward staff and pharmacists regarding patients requirements. Prepare and assemble supplies of aseptically prepared injectable products for delivery to wards and departments. Prepare and set up aseptic products, e.g. total amounts of antibiotics required for the day can be set up, given identity numbers, documents and labels making sure that each tray is correct. Enter and prepare clean rooms, making sure that all required tests are carried out on a daily basis, and report any problems to Chief / Senior Technician, Aseptic Services. Assist in the provision of a high quality aseptic pharmaceutical dispensing service to all users of the service including the complex compounding of aseptic products including parenteral nutrition (PN), cytotoxic chemotherapy, special delivery systems, clinical trials medicines, intrathecal injections, Centralised Intravenous Additive service (CIVAs) items, and any other special aseptically manipulated products that may be required. Ensure that all volumes and additives are correct. Use keyboard skills necessary for accurate labelling and data entry or storage of data on computer systems, e.g. charging of drug issues on CMM Pharmacy Computer System. Main duties of the job

As a Substance Misuse Healthcare Assistant, your responsibilities will vary. You will

• Support Substance Use Nurses in daily clinics
• NHS Health Checks, Bloods, Urine Drug Screens, POCTS
• Completing patient paperwork to record on the National Drug Tracking Monitoring Systems (NDTMS)
• Attend and document daily handovers

The Gwent Parent Infant Mental Health Service are looking for a Mental Health Practitioner to work within the Early Years Service and primarily develop links with Primary Care Mental Health Support Service (PCMHSS) and Adult Mental Health. Working alongside Health Visiting, and other community settings, providing consultation, supervision, advice, training, support and information about parent-infant mental health, as well as providing the clinical governance to staff working with families with low level mental health, supporting escalation where appropriate.

Main duties of the job

The post holder will deliver an effective, comprehensive and highly specialised assessment and therapeutic service to vulnerable parents of infants up to the age of 2 and where appropriate to the parents and infants together. They will prove a range of liaison activities which promote and support parent-infant mental health and early intervention. The post holder will also be expected to provide support and consultation to staff working with children and families (up to age 7 years) as part of the Early Years service.

The postholder will hold a small clinical caseload supporting families.
