Are you an Occupational Therapist looking to develop your rehabilitation skills while helping people regain independence and work towards goals that matter to them? Join our inpatient rehabilitation service at Athlone Rehabilitation Unit, with some cross-cover to Alexandra Rehab Unit.

Working as part of a multidisciplinary team, you will provide evidence-based occupational therapy assessments and treatment for people with a range of rehabilitation needs. You will plan, deliver and evaluate individual and group interventions, helping people work towards goals that matter to them across self-care, productivity and leisure.

You will work alongside senior Occupational Therapists and the wider rehabilitation team, with opportunities to build your clinical practice through supervision, preceptorship, continuing professional development, training and quality improvement.

Main duties of the job

As a Band 5 Occupational Therapist, you will:

• Plan and deliver occupational therapy assessments and interventions for a designated caseload, prioritising clinical needs.
• Assess occupational performance and develop person-centred intervention plans that support independence in self-care, productivity and leisure.
• Plan, deliver and evaluate individual and group rehabilitation programmes, adapting interventions in response to progress and need.
• Assess home environments and recommend appropriate assistive technology, equipment or environmental modifications to support independence and safe discharge.
• Undertake non-complex moving and handling assessments and support people and carers to use prescribed equipment safely.

We are looking for an enthusiastic and experienced Lead Pharmacist for Renal Services to provide strategic and clinical leadership to our renal pharmacy service.

A key priority for this post, and an exciting opportunity for the successful candidate, will be to design, establish and lead a pharmacist-led immunosuppressant prescribing service. You would be joining the 14 Arches team at an exciting time of service expansion, in order to meet the needs of a growing NHFT workforce. To lead weekly meeting within the stores area to communicate workload, performance, service updates and issues to all staff working in the area. To work with the Clinical Trials Pharmacist to co-ordinate the safe and accurate operation of clinical trials within the department, which involves the receipt, correct storage, dispensing processes and administration duties involved, and to ensure that other dispensing staff are kept up to date with training. To implement planned service developments effectively, and communicate to staff. To final accuracy check dispensed prescriptions in accordance with departmental procedures To dispense prescriptions accurately according to safe working practices. • Btec NC & NVQ Level 3 in Pharmacy Service skills or GPhC recognised equivalent
• Btec professional diploma in dispensing checking or GPhC recognised equivalent which must meet the APTUK standard for accuracy checking whish is 1000 item log with checking test The APTUK standard must be met within 3 months of starting role
• Registered as a practising Pharmacy Technician with the GPhC
