Gloucestershire Health & Care deliver community health services for adults & older people with multidisciplinary teams closely aligned with Primary Care Networks and the aspirations for place based integrated care.

The Integrated Community Team consists of nursing, physiotherapy and occupational therapy working closely with Adult Social Care colleagues to provide support to people within their own homes.

We work closely with GPs, local communities, acute and community hospital(s) and other partners to enable people to live as independently and for as long as possible within their own home.

We are looking for caring, motivated and enthusiastic individuals to join our new countywide Home First service as Home First Assistants. Working directly with people in their own homes following hospital discharge, you will play a key role in supporting recovery, promoting independence and helping people achieve what matters most to them.

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Clinical/Counselling Psychologist to join the Community CYPMHS Service in Enfield Neurodevelopmental Team and work as part of a multi-disciplinary team in a great location (the post is based at Bay Tree House in Enfield). This is a full-time post, but we are also open to applications for flexible working.

Enfield CAMHS Neurodevelopmental team is a very supportive, friendly and welcoming multi-disciplinary team with a well-established clinical/counselling psychology discipline, family therapy discipline and child psychotherapy discipline. We are looking for a clinician with a broad range of experience, including experience of working with children and families who present with a high level of complexity, as the work will assess and treat a diverse range of difficulties.

Main duties of the job

The post holder will be part of the Neurodevelopmental team with Enfield CAMHS, providing a specialist service to children and young people with neurodevelopmental needs (e.g. ASD, ADHD). Offering specialist assessments, contributing to the diagnostic process and formulating areas of strength and needs to inform on evidence-based interventions. Job summary

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a dynamic, skilled Band 7 Clinical or Counselling Psychologist to work in our Maternal Mental Health Service, Maple. This is a fixed term contract for 12 months.

The Maple Service is for women and birthing people whose trauma symptoms have a moderate to severe impact on their mental health. This may be due to a traumatic birth experience, pregnancy loss, neonatal death or the loss of a baby as a result of social care procedures due to safeguarding concerns. The trauma may also exist prior to conception, e.g. when tokophobia prevents a woman from achieving a wanted pregnancy.

Staff normally run clinics at team bases, maternity sites as well as occasionally conducting home visits. Some clinical work is additionally carried out via video call. Therefore, the successful post-holder must be willing to travel and work flexibly.

Specialist supervision will be provided for the successful applicant by a band 8a Clinical/Counselling Psychologist in the Team. There is a large psychology team working across the whole service who meet regularly, provide peer support, and develop/review the psychological service.

We are looking to recruit to a 1.0 WTE based in the East sub team based at N9 7HD.

Please note that the successful applicant is likely to be required to travel to other sites at times including St Pancras Hospital (Camden) and Cedar Place (North Finchley).

Main duties of the job

Services offered by the post holder will include providing psychological assessments, and interventions to service users in line with the evidence base and NICE guidelines. They will also offer advice and consultation based on psychological formulation to referrers, staff of the Maple Service and other professional and non-professional groups.

The post holder will actively contribute to the planning, development and evaluation of perinatal mental health clinical services using leadership skills and knowledge to provide training and consultancy within the specialty area of loss and trauma in the perinatal period. We are seeking a clinical or counselling psychologist to work in the North Islington Core team. Job summary

This is an exciting opportunity for a Senior Psychologist or Psychotherapist to join the multi-disciplinary Community Team in the Camden and Islington Personality Disorder Service in North London Foundation Trust. The post-holder will join the Team Manager, and Consultant Psychiatrists in leading the team which is made up of Social Workers, Occupational Therapists and Nurses.

The main purpose of the role is to bring a psychological perspective to the work of the Community Team, which functions within a framework of psychologically-informed and change-focused case management and provides assessment, consultation and interventions to people with difficulties understood as severe 'personality disorder'. The post holder will also hold a small caseload offering individual and group interventions. The team uses psychologically-informed and change-focused approaches in their work with clients, this includes case management (informed by MBT and SCM) and Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT). The post holder will be part of the DBT Team which works across both the Community Team and the Therapies Team in the service.

As a member of the whole service management group, the post holder will provide senior clinical input for the management of complex cases held by the service and will take a role in supporting the service to manage formal and informal complaints. The Camden Community CAMHS Teams (South) have an exciting opportunity for a CYP Psychological Training - Systemic (conduct) Trainees to join their teams as part of the NHS England (NHSE) funded Children and Young People (CYP) Psychological Training Programmes (formerly CYP-IAPT).

The Camden Community CAMHS Teams work with children and families from 0-18 years and work with moderate + emotional wellbeing needs, the teams have a strong MDT approach with clinical staff from a variety of disciplines to include: child psychotherapy, psychiatry, psychology, nursing, social work and systemic psychotherapy and offering evidence-based talking therapies. The teams works closely with Camden CAMHS services and partner agencies within the Units, and with Camden primaries and secondary schools.

THE FAMILY DRUG AND ALCOHOL COURT TEAM

A Family Drug and Alcohol Court is an innovative approach to the problem of parental substance misuse (drugs or alcohol) which is having a negative impact on parenting capacity.

The FDAC is based on a model now being widely used across the USA, which is an exciting way of trying to break the destructive cycle of substance misuse through generations. The London FDAC has been running since 2008 and now serves 14 Local Authorities across 4 Family Courts. Independent research suggest that this model is successful in getting parents to engage with and stay in substance misuse services leading to more children being able to return home. Where parents do not engage and children cannot return home, quicker decisions are made about permanent placements for them.

The model is of a specialist court operating within the framework of care proceedings. The specialist FDAC team (which includes substance misuse practitioners, children and family social workers and child and adult mental health expertise) will be attached to the 4 courts we serve in Central, South, West and East London. It will advise the court and link the parents into relevant local services. The emphasis is on working with the parent and child, not just assessing them.

The Whole Family Service is a highly specialist CAMHS which works with families who might have a complex relationship with help. The service uses creative and flexible approaches to engage families whose multiple difficulties mean they might not be able to access a traditional clinic-based service. The service is co-located across local authority services to enable effective partnership working and facilitate coordination amongst professional networks.

The service is comprised of two teams, the Whole Family Team with Perinatal Specialist (WFT-P) and the Whole Family Team (WFT). The WFT-P is a highly specialist service offering psychological therapy to families during pregnancy and with babies, toddlers and children up to the age of 5 years. The WFT is based with Camden local authority social care teams such as safeguarding and family help (previously children's services), alternative education provision (e.g. SEMH school, PRUs), youth justice, early help and the adolescent prototype team. The SCAN service Supports children & young people with moderate to severe learning disabilities and neuro-developmental conditions, who attend special schools, where the degree of impairment is significant and coupled with mental health difficulties including severe challenging behaviour. SCAN works closely with the Cheviots (Enfield Children's Social Services), Paediatricians, and both Special and Mainstream Schools.

An exciting opportunity has arisen to join Barnet CAMHS as CAMHS practitioner. This is role is suitable for someone who is passionate about providing high quality care and support to young people with a range of mental health and neurodevelopment conditions. Our highly motivated department consists of 7 Ophthalmologists, 3 Associate Specialists, 6 Optometrists, 6 Optometry Technicians and 4 Orthoptists.

Our Optometrists provide a broad range of highly skilled core and specialised services including glaucoma and medical retina clinics. Higher qualifications in glaucoma and independent prescribing would be advantageous but optometrists can be supported with any necessary training.
